Well worth a read . IF you think your getting quality parts and service you might want to check or have the work re checked, No do not reccomend warren plowright toyota , port macquarie at all , I had recently purchased a second hand vehicle , a Toyota , and went into Toyota to get a full inspection of the vehicle and a full major service , I spoke to a service person called tom when I dropped the vehicle off on the Wednesday 30th in the morning , I specified that I wanted all genuine Toyota parts and a full inspection of the vehicle , after receiving a phone call from another service person called tony , to give a full list of things that the vehicle needed , which was a large list , I asked if the parts and service of all the requirements could be done , as I was told yes I agreed to have it completed by the Friday afternoon , which was agreed on by them , after having some difficulties with phone calls getting through to the service department several times , I received a call Friday afternoon to collect the car all was done and complete , after collecting the car and returning home to have a look at some of the work which was carried out , I instantly noticed a non genuine oil filter had been fitted , I looked under the car to inspect further and clear and obvious was a main bolt hanging out of the gearbox area , it had been a bellhousing bolt that had been missed , when the gearbox was taken out , I immediately rang the Toyota dealership and spoke with tony about what I had already found on a basic inspection , after returning to Toyota and speaking with tony about the things that had been missed I was passed on to a service manager called shane , which I asked why and what had happened with the service , loose bolt , non genuine filter ect , I was told that Toyota didn't have a genuine filter so they put a aftermarket one on , and as for the loose bolt from a part of the gearbox , his reply was" o we all make mistakes" , as a Toyota dealership I asked who did their checks of quality of the work that the mechanics did and was told a foreman does check the work , which I guess he didn't check that either , I have since had a second opinion from another mechanic , whilst at the other mechanics he pointed out a part , looks like a hose clamp or spring that was inbetween the bonnet and guard , left out or off something or somewhere ? and have since found out that there are several parts on the car that are not genuine Toyota parts , as I clearly asked for when making the booking with Toyota , and other things that havnt been done , or checked , or reported for further fixing , I have since found several water heater hoses that are leaking coolant , there are wrong part codes on the bill from Toyota , the vehicle was left with grease on the bull bar and side steps , oil under vehicle around parts that were worked on or replaced , oil and grease under bonnet and parts , the service manager said he" wouldn't mind putting a genuine filter and oil in the vehicle " when I return to Toyota , well aint that nice of them , so as I see it there are certainly some genuine reasons and concerns about the quality of the mechanic work as well as the cleanliness of the vehicle on return and the quality of the responsibility when things are not done as requested or said they would be , and definitely for the vehicle being cleared to the customer after supposedly being checked by the foreman or supervisor , i am currently left with uncertainty of the vehicle for traveling with my family , as it is a Friday afternoon I am unable to take the vehicle back to Toyota once again or speak with somebody from Toyota port Macquarie until Monday , and have had planned to travel over the weekend , very disappointed with the quality of all people that were involved with the service of the vehicle and certainly the response I received upto date ,

    Service department is hopeless!!!
First time I booked in for an airbag recall, dropped my car off at 8am and was told it would be ready at 1pm,so I arrived at about 12:45 for them to tell me to bring it back tomorrow because they forgot to order the parts?????
Then about 6 months later I booked in to get the injector seals replaced, all was good untill I drove out of the dealership and the car was making noises, the “mechanic” hadn’t put a heat shield on properly and was rubbing on the tail shaft!! So he hadn’t even road tested the car before he let the customer take it!
The third time I got them to put a new genuine clutch in,I’ve had nothing but troubles with it ever since, feels spongy and can hardly tow without it slipping and needs replacing after 12 months,$1500 well spent!!!!!
WILL NEVER RETURN OR RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!! HOPELESS!!!!!!

This is for the Toyata dealers located down the road with Lexus dealship. You would have to be the worst salesman I've ever spoken to. He wasn't interested in selling us a car because we weren't locals. Well the dealership on Gordon st was very happy to take our money so we bought one from them! OMG
