- Peter Buckle Added August 31, 2017★ ★ ★ ★ ★Unassuming cafe and bakery on Main St Port Macquarie (Horton St). The "bakery" bit however, is anything but "unassuming". This is full on, flat out, no questions asked, the handiwork of one of the best pastry chefs on the east coast of Australia, with sourdough in particular which is truly world class (try the roasted beetroot and caramelised onion loaf). The PM locals might not know it yet, but this guy's a keeper! You NEED to support this place, and get fat on the best carbs in town!
